What's new
What changed in the Warpdrive apps, newest first. These are the same notes the app shows when an update is ready.
Covers the Warpdrive apps. This list follows the desktop, web, and phone apps, which share one version number, and is updated with each release. It shows the most recent 15 releases.
A tidier About#
The download cards in About lost their filler, so the platforms you can install are what you see.
- Less to read in About. Each product now carries one line and its platform buttons, with no eyebrow, lead-in, or footnote around them.
Chats start sooner#
A Space keeps a terminal ready, your AI is asked one question instead of two, and a turn no longer carries the App-building manual.
- A Space keeps a terminal ready. Opening a Space prepares the terminal the next new Chat needs, so its first message does not wait for one to be built.
- Fewer questions before your question. Warpdrive used to ask your AI how demanding your message is, wait, then ask how much thinking it needs. It now asks both at once.
- A lighter turn. Every message carried the whole App-building manual, about 11 KB of instructions, even a question about coffee.
Pick your assistant's voice with one tap#
Tap the assistant's name, scroll the voices, and tap one. It's saved and the sheet closes.
- Pick your assistant's voice with one tap. The voice sheet is a scrollable list like the AI picker, with the name at the top. Tapping a voice saves it and closes the sheet.
New looks for Chat cards#
Cards in a Chat have a cleaner look, buttons are gold and easy to spot, and the phone can always get back to the Chat.
- Chat cards have a new look. Every card your AI shows in a Chat was redesigned so it is quicker to read and tap.
- Back to the Chat from any list. When a card takes you to Apps, Chats, Spaces or the Store, a back arrow brings you straight back to the Chat.
A lighter way to change your assistant's voice#
Tap the assistant's name to change its voice from a short list, and it asks you for things only once.
- A lighter way to change your assistant's voice. The voice sits under the assistant's name as plain text. Tap the name and a short sheet opens with every voice as a small tag.
A browser that remembers where you signed in#
The Space browser now opens like Create Space the first time, then goes straight to your signed-in sites every time after.
- Your Space browser opens where you left it. The first visit walks you through signing in like Create Space does; after that the browser opens by itself on the site you used last, still signed in.
Chat cards reach the Apps you build#
Cards in a Chat can now open Apps you built in a Space, count them, and Back takes you to the Chat you came from.
- Cards open the Apps you build. Your AI can now show a card for an App you built in a Space, not just Apps from the Store, and Back returns you to the Chat.
A photo holds its place in a Chat before it loads#
A photo you send now takes its exact shape in the Chat straight away, so nothing jumps while it loads.
- A photo holds its place in a Chat before it loads. Photos sent from now on take their exact shape in the Chat before they load, so the Chat stays still.
Know why an App won't start#
An App your AI built now shows a Blocked badge when your Space has no memory or storage left to start it, and says what to do.
- See when an App has no room to start. When your Space runs out of memory or storage for an App your AI built, the App shows a Blocked badge with the reason instead of just not opening.
Tap your way around from a Chat#
Your AI can now answer with cards you tap: open an App, connect a service, jump to a Space or another Chat, or visit a page.
- Cards in a Chat open things. When your AI mentions an App, a Connected App, a Space or another Chat, it can show a card you tap to go straight there.
- Web links show where they go. A link card shows the page's title and its real web address, and asks before opening it in your browser.
Several photos in a message share one grid and open as a set#
A message with several photos shows them together the way chat apps do, and tapping one lets you swipe through them all.
- Several photos in a message share one grid and open as a set. Photos sent together sit in one grid in the Chat, and tapping one opens the whole set to swipe through.
Your assistant matches your theme#
Until you pick a voice, a Space's assistant is the character of the theme you use.
- Your assistant matches your theme. Until you pick a voice, a Space's assistant is the character of the theme you use.
Your assistant is a character now#
It talks like a person texting, builds your profile quietly, handles what it can on its own, and starts every Space as the ship's AI.
- Your assistant is a character now. Short messages, no questions about whether it may remember things, and it handles what it can inside the Space on its own.
Your assistant now knows what time it is for you#
The web and desktop app tells each Space your time zone, so the assistant wakes at your morning and keeps quiet hours in your own clock.

Your assistant answers when you open its Chat#
Tapping the pinned assistant row now opens the assistant, and the assistant Chat is there from the first time you open a Space.
- Your assistant answers when you open its Chat. Tapping the pinned assistant row opens the assistant's own Chat instead of the Space's latest Chat.
